    1. Overview

    This website is operated by iLumber. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to iLumber. iLumber offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

    By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms"), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein.

    2. Products, Samples, and Natural Variations

    We specialize in natural wood products and strive to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible. By purchasing from iLumber, you acknowledge:

    • Material Characteristics: Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, tone, grain pattern, texture, and the presence of knots or other natural characteristics are inherent and are not considered defects.
    • Samples and Finish Representation: Samples, photos, and product images are provided for general reference only. Actual products, including pre-finished, stained, painted, or custom-finished materials, may vary due to wood species, natural absorption, batch differences, lighting conditions, and the finishing process. Exact matches are not guaranteed.
    • Aging, Weathering, and Color Change: Natural wood may change in appearance over time due to light exposure, UV, moisture, oxidation, environmental conditions, installation location, and normal aging. Interior applications may also experience color changes from natural or artificial light exposure. When left untreated in exterior applications, natural wood will typically weather to a silver-gray patina over time. These natural changes in appearance are not considered defects.

    3. Custom Orders, Pre-Finished Materials, and Final Sale

    A significant portion of our catalog includes custom-milled, specific-cut, pre-finished, stained, painted, or otherwise custom-finished products.

    • All orders containing customizations, specific dimensions, custom colors, custom-cut lumber, and all pre-finished, stained, painted, or otherwise custom-finished materials are considered Final Sale.
    • These items are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges once production has begun, except where required by law.

    4. Cancellations, Returns, and Restocking Fees

    • Cancellations: Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. Canceled orders that have already entered production or include custom specifications are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
    • Freight Returns: Eligible returned orders originally delivered via freight shipping are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus all return shipping costs.
    • Refused Shipments: Deliveries refused without prior written notice will incur 100% of original and return shipping costs, plus a $25 restocking fee per box.

    5. Shipping and Delivery Inspections

    Most heavy lumber orders are delivered via freight shipping. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery site is accessible. You must carefully inspect all materials upon delivery. Any damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be explicitly noted on the carrier's Bill of Lading (BOL) before the delivery driver departs.

    6. Limitation of Liability

    We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. iLumber shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from structural failures, improper installation, or any injury resulting from the use of our products. We strongly advise using a licensed and insured contractor for all installations.

    7. Governing Law

    These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
